He's Guilty!

The jury has come back with a GUILTY VERDICT for Scott Peterson, thus restoring some of my faith in the judgement of the american people. I had been worried, what with 3 jurors being dismissed and the jury's seeming inability to come to an agreement. But they did it and found him guilty of first-degree murder in the death of his pregnant wife Laci and second-degree murder in the death of their unborn son Connor. The possible sentances are death or life in prison without parole. I hope he rots.

Rosemarie,

My lawyer father totally agrees with you about the not enough hard evidence to convict Scott Peterson and I am not going to deny that my feelings are based on emotion. I think that he is guilty by the way he acted - nobody changes their appearance, has that much cash on hard and is heading towards the mexican border if they are not trying to escape. In my opinion, he was trying to escape because he killed his wife and son and I am glad the jury convicted him. Whether or not they convicted him based on emotion rather than evidence, I don't care, I am happy with the verdict. If I was on a jury, would I be able to be objective enough not to base my decision on emotion? That is a question I hope I don't have to ever answer.
